Inari Fisheries Research and Aquaculture – Aquaculture production Inari aquaculture station produces fingerlings for Lake Inarijärvi and for stocking needs in watersheds running into the Arctic Ocean.
Salmon from the River Teno (a living gene bank for securing the stock), brown trout, Arctic charr, broad whitefish (Coregonus pidschian) and lake trout are cultivated at the station. The fish health class is P1.
