Keminmaa Fish Farm – Aquaculture production

Keminmaa aquaculture station focuses on collecting eggs from the wild and quarantining eggs transported inland from sea areas for ongrowing. This applies especially to the hatching stocks from the Bothnian Bay area.

Atlantic salmon, sea trout, migrating whitefish, grayling and lamprey (Lampetra fluviatilis) are cultivated at the station.
