Research on use and consumption
The goal of this sub-theme is to analyze the use of fish, game, and reindeer food products both as intermediates in the food production chain and as the end product for catering and household use. This is accomplished by analyzing the perceptions and expectations of these products and their production by consumers and other agents of the food production chain. The factors that affect the purchase decisions of consumers, such as price, domestic content, and quality, are studied. With the aid of these research results, a basis for rationale decision and action can guide production and marketing.
