Natural resource economics: industry and entrepreneurship The structure, strategies and possibilities of the industry based on animal natural resources and conditions of sustainable use of natural resources are studied. The emphasis lays on new sources of livelihood.
Natural resources lay the foundation for economic activity. The sustainable use of natural resources requires reliable information on renewal and utilisation of the resources. There should also be information on future development and demand resources. This information is needed to assess the economically optimal utilisation of natural resources.
Acknowledgement of ecosystem services raise questions about efficiency and justice of prevailing allocation and use of natural resources. Industrial and regional policies require multifaceted information on industries, entrepreneurs, and innovations to generate dynamic strategies for the future.
