Environment oriented fish research

This research programme produces knowledge of the habitat requirements of fish and the impacts of environmental changes on fish populations. This information is needed when evaluating the state of the environment and the management of fisheries.

The programme consists of 15 projects, divided into three main categories

1. habitat requirements of fish and the effects of environmental changes on fish populations

2. assessment of habitat restoration and development of restoration methods

3. environmental monitoring and development of monitoring methods.
