Eifaac- Symposium 22. - 24.10.2012
Towards responsible future in inland fisheries
Management-related collaboration in inland fisheries and aquaculture
Hämeenlinna, Finland 22-24 October 2012
|Participants of the Eifaac-Symposium.|
PROGRAM and TIMETABLE
The EIFAAC Session (planned to take place in 13-15 June 2012 in Hämeenlinna, Finland) was postponed by EIFAAC, i.e. regardless of the organisers. The Symposium in 11-13 June 2012 was not possible to organize independently without the benefit of the synergy with the EIFAAC Session.
It is now confirmed that the 27th Session of EIFAAC will take place from 24 October (noon) to 26 October. The Session would then be preceded by the symposium (22 – 24 October, noon).
Both events will be held at the Spa-Hotel Rantasipi Aulanko, as originally planned.
The Symposium flyer can be found here.
Registration is open until September 15 (normal) or up to October 15 (late registration). The organizers kindly ask those who registered into the postponed June Symposium re-register.
The contributions earlier intended to be presented at EIFAAC 2012 in June, are all welcome into the Symposium in October. There are still space for experience papers and especially posters, and the organizers encourage the scientists and stakeholders to contribute with solutions and models on the best available practices in fisheries and crayfish management.
Abstracts should be submitted not later than 31 August 2012! If the authors will update the abstract sent already for the postponed Symposium, the same dead line is valid.
Instructions for the authors and the abstract form can be found here. Please download the form to your computer, fill it in, and e-mail to email@example.com .The organizers will confirm receipt of your abstract.

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, there are good connections to Hämeenlinna (http://www.helsinki-vantaa.fi/home).
The old capital of Finland, Turku (140 km from Hämeenlinna), also has an international airport (http://www.finavia.fi/airports/airport_turku).
